Dyno Results Threads

Should each performance section have sticky'd threads where members can post their setups and dyno slips? I know there is one in the 24v Performance Parts section... But there isn't one in the 3rd Gen Performance Parts section for instance. I think it's a good idea to have and see various setups and what kind of numbers they made. A good reference of what parts might make similar numbers.

Lots of views but only 4 votes. Nobody else is interested in what "recipes" have made what kinda of HP & TQ? My hope is if we can't get an overwhelming number of yes votes we could see about asking the mods to add these kind of threads.

YES! its cool for new members, and old members, that have a power goal in mind to see what exactly it takes to get there.

That being said, i think there should be some sort of a template to fill out for each post that is in the first post of the thread, including whats done to the truck, etc, and also WHAT DYNO it was run on. i have seen first hand, a truck dyno almost 100hp different between 2 dynos, one being a trailer and one being an in ground at a well respected shop, guess which one i trust more....

also, i know this might be a lot of work for the mods, or maybe just state 'dyno sheets and info only', but clean up the threads so it is just dyno sheets and parts lists, no useless banter between people. its kind of hard to look through the threads and see maybe one dyno sheet per page of people bickering (or simply conversing most of the time).

Yup, the dyno thread in the 2nd Gen section has a format more or less. It's proven useful, especially with all the "how much hp am I making" type posts.

Too many stickies is cluttering.. Of course we all like dyno numbers, but the way to do it would be to have a sub-forum for dyno sheets only.. You can go there if you are interested in it and dig up what you want.

Thumbs up

12v section needs it something fierce. There were six which turbo should I get threads on the first page, would be nice to point the newbies at it.
