but the main problem is the cost of diesel's has come down so much that all these young kids are trading their ricers in for diesels and hince the destruction of our sport
well, then i retract my previous statements.

the high prices did weed out a lot of people. but thats not the only thing bringing them in, there's alot of people out here that buy them with mommys money just for show.

My truck smokes if I turn it up high. But I get so tired of all the threads of people asking how to get your truck to smoke. I love this sport, use my truck for work and play, and I would hate to see it get so restricted for all the people only buying a diesel to make it bellow black smoke.

Im 20 years old and i did the whole blow smoke everywhere for a few months. Then i grew up and now i try to make it not smoke especially on crowded public roads. It would be nice if people would stop doing it so youngins like myself just getting into this sport we love so dearly can grow and play with the big dogs.

FINALLY!!!!! People are listening. If we continue to let these idiots smoke people out our sport will come to an end. It's already happening. Look at all the emissions on the new trucks. And that's just the beginning. All diesel websites need to step up and do something about it since this is where people get their ideas from and spend time and learn stuff. If websites keep allowing people to post smoking videos or threads asking how do I make my truck smoke then nothing is gonna change. But if they start shutting those threads down and deleting those videos then people will hopefully start getting the hint. The problem with this is that all the other sites would become just like some other overly moderated website and nobody wants that.

What really needs to happen is that people need to quit being idiots, pull their heads out of their butts, quit being stubborn and ignorant, and grow up. Smoking people out for any reason at all is childish, immature, and potentially very dangerous. One day someone is going to smoke someone out and either cause an accident and get someone seriously injured or they are going to get shot and then things are going to get ugly. Hopefully we can stop this childish act before someone gets killed.

i agree to a point, i think if they jumped on here and banned everyone from doing that kinda stuff and deleted the vids, it would just turn them into the smoke gestapo. thats not really something i think will help. i think having a firm "this is our stance as a community" will help the message across, but just blatanly not allowing it, wont help the sport grow in a positive direction. if it was like that i probably wouldnt be here, i mean one of the first things i learned on here was how to make a smoke switch... ( i even used the search function )

i have since stopped using it outside of wheeling in the dunes, and a few weeks ago, i cut it out of the truck all together, but it is what brought me in. so to disallow it all wont give other kids the chance to grow up in the sport like alot of us have.
