keep losing power to FASS 150

i bought my 01 ram 2500 with a fass 150 hpfp on it and it keeps losing power through the terminals on the battery. is there any way to get a more reliable power source that isnt going to corrode and stop getting ground/power like it does on the terminals.

You can ground to the engine and then tap for power at the fuse box.

BUT i can say this is not a prob i see alot of. Might give your posts a good clean with water and baking soda and spray with some corrosion inhibitor.

Foreware - the fuse box under the hood (behind the drivers side battery) has a big black cable and a big red cable connecting it.

They are BOTH HOT. The black is not a ground.

CORRECT!!!! DO NOT CONNECT THE GND WIRE OF OUR HARNESS TO THE BLACK CABLE. GND TO THE ENGINE ONLY!!! OR YOU WILL FRY YOUR STOCK HARNESS.

Fill out your sig. If you have a edge unit or are running a turbo timer i think you should get your power from the # 9 fuse so the FASS keeps running as long as the motor stays running. I may be wrong but thats just my .02

FASS takes its trigger for the realy off the stock lift pump circut. SO it should still run if the turbo timer keeps #9 fuse hot......

No.....the Red wire on our harness needs 100% power all the time. So you have to attach to one of the lugs at the UNDERHOOD fuse box. If you pop the lid you will see them. This is getting over complicated.......

JUST make sure you ground the GREEN wire to the engine or neg batt post....NOT the fuse box.

Might i suggest that if you are having a hard time understanding this you look for local help to hook this up. Its not difficult but if done incorrectly, it can cause damage to your stock engine harness.
