Need help on the install please!

ok i just installed my fass and havnt started it yet but realized that on this step "Disconnect factory fuel line from inlet side of the factory injection pump and
install the injection pump o’ring fuel fitting into this inlet port. (Note: This is
where the suction fuel line from the fuel filter enters the injection pump.) As
seen in photo 4A & 4B. Torque to 18ft lbs." it never tells me what do do with the factory fuel line or the factory fuel system? if i just leave it there wont it just spray all over the place?

Nope.....you disable the stock fuel pump with the WH-1004 Harness (The one with the relay), or by cutting the gnd wire for the intank pump depending on how new your system is. You can just cover and bag the lines up if you wish.

This should be covered in the directions. You should cut (or removed the pin out of the connector if you wish) back at the tank. Its going to be one of the heavy gauge wires on the out side of the plug. Pin #1. This wire is going to be black with an orange tracer if i recall correctly. This is the gnd wire. As long as you have the 12+ wire hooked up to the in-tank pump, it will not pop a code. (The positive wire is going to be at Pin #4 location.)

in the directions i was suplied it tells me to plug something into that then plug the other behind it but my kit didnt come with anything to plug into the harness? so i guess i need to cut the wire. so im cutting the positive wire in the harned thats pluged into the fuel tank and it should be black and orange?

In the instructions....what is the part number of the harness that says should be in there?

In your kit....what is the part number of the harness that was included....should be on a white tag.
