Hello, I am kindve new to this site, but I joined because I really have a problem that needs fixed with my truck... I have the Fass 150, along with a 9 month old Injection pump, 150 hp injectors, and superchips - edge comp. stacked.... What is happening is the truck runs fine at idle and at minimal throttle, but when I start into about half throttle or so when the truck is out of first gear and higher rpm's and boost (using more fuel) the truck starts to flutter like its starved for fuel... I thought it was the filters so I changed those.... that didn't fix it.... so I went to Columbus Diesel Supply where I got the pump and got a different spring to put in the pump to raise the pressure.... and that as well did not fix my problem... I kind've have an idea of what it could be but I just thought I would see if anybody has ever had those symptoms. I believe it could be my STOCK draw tube either too small, or clogged up.... any suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks, Matt

that is a common issue when stacking the edge comp and superchips, especially if there is timing involved in both. get rid of the superchips and buy a smarty to run on the FUEL ONLY settings

Dan, I am in the proccess of getting a fuel guage on my truck to have a better understanding of whats going on with the system. I only have boost/pyro/trans. temp on there right now so I am unable to give you the numbers, but as soon as I have them I will let you know because I am stumped!! Thanks, Matt

hmmmm...... that is so funny because I have talked to many diesel performance places and nobody has said that it wasn't good to stack those two together?? Where do I buy a smarty at? Thanks, Matt

p.s. I am already finding this place to be very helpful!

my friend had that stack on his truck and it would spit and sputter real bad under hard acceleration...too much timing b/n the superchips and comp

there are always smarty's popping up for sale b/n the many diesel forums. you could also sell your stack and try to get your hands on an adrenaline - similar to the smarty/drag comp stack w/ a lot of cool features (turbo timer, defueling, ect.)

FASS 150 Filters:

FASS - Fuel Air Separation System - fassride.com

Just toss the spring....its no good to you with a 150 GPH kit.....it was a misprint in our mounting package instructions that caused it to be included in the kit.

I can e-mail a copy of my receipt in PDF if that would work.
