If I were you, I'd either send em an email or give em a call rather than inquire on a forum.

WELL...if you are at the VP pump, you see what the pump is seeing. BUT pressure drop from Line loss is sooo small, that if you took pressure from our system....i think you would be just fine. The only thing that could not show would be an internal failure of the hose that blocks fuel flow. BUT VERY VERY Rare....

Between the 95 series and the 150 series, not much differance in performance. Both have the exact same pump options. The big differance is size. The 95 series is 25% smaller than the 150 series. The 150 series has filters you can cross to aftermarket sources. The 95 series you will need to contact a FASS dealer to get fuel filters as they are made just for us by Fleetguard. The water separator you can cross to a FG# FS19768 Number.

Will I still need a snubber for the location off of your pump?

I feel a snubber should be a standard item when installing a gauge. SO yes...i feel that would protect your gauge better, and would also restrict the flow of fuel if you ever had a leak on the gauge side so you would have less of a mess........

jbarker,

You are good to go......got you on file.

Great thanks..I do not have a snubber as i have seen you post links to but i do have a needle valve installed in the line and i still get a slight tick at the gauge. would a snubber do a better job at making the gauge less noisy?

John

alright one more question then... what about if I run a 30" hose off of a T, to relocate the sensor near the fender to mount the sensor on the fender or firewall. do you think I will still need a snubber or needle valve?

Diesel Dan i hear you are the man when it comes to FASS here is a few questions for you hopefully you can help me. I have a 2002 ram 3500 flatbed dually my lift pump is 100% dead the dealer wants to put a in tank pump in... i do have a warrentee that should cover this.. but im thinkin of just bightin' the bullet and goin fass. the questions i have are how hard is it to install, wiring, plumbing, etc. also because i have a hyraulic dump the hydraulic pump and resivoir are on the driverside frame rail where i think the fass should be mounted, i can not move the pump becasue of the way its hooked up can i still use a fass, also becasue its a dually my rear tires throw up alot of dirt sand snow salt that direction i imagine that that would not be good for the fass system.

i have a block mounted lift pump right now, it is putting out 0 pressure and 0 volume how long its been like that who knows.

do you feel that this system is the best setup for my truck or is there somthing else out there that i should look into?

if it will work what would i need and what size

let me know what you think please!

01, whatever you do I would NOT let the dealer install an in tank pump. You're just asking for trouble there.

As far as installation, if I can do it, anyone can. It's really not that difficult at all. Check out this link for an idea of what you'de be looking at ... Dodge Ramcharger Central - Cummins Diesel - Ram Truck - Power Wagon - Trail Duster - 4X4 - Plymouth - Chrysler - Mopar

As far as where to mount it, The closer to the fuel tank I'd say the better, however I do know of a guy who mounted it up under his hood and he's getting good pressure. That's a big truck you've got there, you'll find a spot.

Best of luck to ya !! Without a doubt the FASS is the way to go !!

Needle valves work ok...you just have to close them, and then crack, and i mean CRACK them open to the width of a tick hair! haha.....that is how mine is set. BUT a snubber would do all this with out adjustment.
