D-tech turbo group buy

I contacted Jacob about doing a group buy because I am going to want to upgrade my stocker for the twins and I saw some other guys looking into 62's as well and here is what Jacob told me he can do:

62mm s300 $978/ $899 shipped after rebate to 48 states (add downpipe and clamp for $140) (add $49 for intercooler boot for 2nd gen trucks) HX40 or HE351 flange

64mm s300 $1195/ $1099 shipped after rebate to 48 states (add downpipe and clamp for $140) (add $49 for intercooler boot for 2nd gen trucks) HX40 or HE351 flange

s300g 57/65/14 for $1039/ $955 shipped after rebate to 48 states HX40 flange & 2nd gen turbo outlet only

BD superB special style turbo 64/71/14 for $1418/ $1304 shipped after rebate to 48 states (no downpipe/ HX40 flange & 2nd gen turbo outlet only)

Those that want 1st gen downpipe and flanges they will be available for $239 shipped after rebate with purchase of a turbo.

so that meen we could get any combo of wheel sizes? for example.....62/65/14 ......62/71/14? or are they all going to be 12cm housings?

Yes they are wastegated.

HTB2 Turbo or Phat Shaft - D-Tech Turbo Diesel Power Source

It is an s300 base I do believe.

already ordered mine(62), should be here on TUES.

Now I am curious about the downpipe and such, Diesel Power place told me its direct bolt in??? just pull the 2 pins out of the stock turbo elbow ?

I will subscribe to this thread and update when I get mine installed.. with pics and such. maybe videos.

It is a direct fit. Just put your cast elbow on the back of it (as long as you get the 3rd gen style)

Correct me if I am wrong... I know nothing about turbos... but it says on their site good for up to 430 hp. Isn't that a little small? Or is this just for a twin setup?

I was wondering about this to, since I am currently at 446hp. Diesel power told me that they did not want the 700hp trucks installing them and expecting them to last. or something along those lines.

Mine should be here tomo, and installed before the weekend.

Im going to be using it in a twins setup so it should make a lot more than 430hp. If an HE351 can make over 500hp Im sure this turbo can make more than that. This turbo is nothing but an s362.

I think they are just underrated

Hi all,

I have been running one of these turbos for over a year, they spool almost as fast as a superB but flow more. You can run them over 430HP but you may not have the 1 year warranty. Most of you know that a truck with an hx35 can make more than 300HP but its not really efficient, the 430HP is a conservative # like that. If you are over 430HP you will want to consider the 64/65/12 which uses the same efficient ETT 64.5mm compressor wheel that is on the HTT, II and BD turbos.

For those of you who want a SuperB style s300G turbo or SuperB Special style 64/71/14 I will Have Cummins6speed put prices for those in the first post.

Reminder that the 62/65/12 and 64/65/12 turbos come in hx40 or HE351 exhaust outlet and 3rd gen style compressor outlet only. The exhaust housings can be interchanged with a 14cm or 13ss for 65mm wheel. Those using it on a 1st or 2nd gen intercooled truck will need to add $49 for the intercooler boot


If you want your turbo to last you WILL:
1. Use a turbo properly sized for your application and HP
2. Not cook it with high EGT or forgetting to cool it down to 350
2. Not run your engine with dirty oil (turbos are very susceptable to oil contamination.
3. Not run the snot out of it by overspin/overboosting it.
