Removing Tar

A Guy came up to me today with a Dirty truck and asked how much I would charge to clean it up, just the outside though. So, I gave him my quote, which surprised him how cheap I was. He was like, you will get all of that stuff off of my truck and as I walked closer I saw what I thought was mud was tar, A LOT OF TAR!!!

Now, I know clay will get tar off, but there is a lot more tar than clay I would want to buy.
What is an easy and fast way to get a lot of tar off?

Thanks for the help, again,

Billy
