what to use for bugs???

So I wash my truck and it all looks great, except for the bugs still stuck all over the front.

Whats a good product (or method) to use to get the bugs off, that is safe on the paint?

Bug repellent!, elbow grease and a good car wash soap.

if you get most of the bug off by scrubbing, then a clay bar will take the rest off.

I'll toss this one out: I used Windex LIME. The label says it has no amonia so I gave it a try after 2 commerical bug/tar removers failed. Sprayed it on - had a beer - washed it off. My truck is a white sport so the junk shows up really well on the front. I was using Turtle ICE wash in warm water and the '2 bucket' set-up I read about here. At least nothing burst into flames.

Thanks guys. I found some Meguair's bug & tar remover, but I think I might give the Windex a shot as well.

Go to the local dollar store and look for Awesome. Its a dollar a bottle and a bottle lasts me all year taking bugs off all 5 of my vehicles. I spray it on right before I start washing then wash with dishsoap and water and the bugs are gone.
