Detailing Mickey Thompson Wheels
IVe got a set of Mickey Thompson Classic II that have the simulated beadlock. These wheels are about a year old. Ive neglected polishing these but i do clean them weekly. They have these black spots all over them and what looks like mud stain on 2 of them. They also have what looks like a sligt haze on them that will not come off. Ive tried Mothers paste polish and the Mothers Power Metal with a powerball with no results. They still shine good and look good at a distance so i dont beleive they need any major refinishing just some good products. I just need a great cleaning or polishing compund and some sort of sealer to keep them looking great. Just trying to get them looking better before they get any worse.Any suggestions are welcomed!

Wolfgang Metalwerks Compound ... Fine Polish ... Contours polish ... Contours Sealer. Use those in those steps, with a lake country wool pad on a high speed drill

OTC metal polishes are useless unless you have brand new wheels. The best OTC polish I have found is actually Meguiars Marine metal polish. its a paste and therefore better than the very weak liquid polishes youll find in auto parts stores.

My M/T II's are getting bad to. i went down to the coast and left my truck siting for aout 4 weeks after i got back (transmission), and the salt water pasted itself to my rims. I thought i'd try and see if i can warranty them. I heard that windex and stell wool works good to but i' just beat my mothers powerball to death and now i'm gonna try meguiars or try wolfgang. Where do you get this wolfgang stuff at? i've never heard of it.

Those look good buddy. I personally like the contours polish. I think it adds "pop" to the metal. But yes, you can get away without it
