I use Blackfire products and wax twice a year....works great for me

The best quick detailer I have found is One Grand Show Off - it really makes the paint "pop."

I wax my truck about every 1-2k miles. Which is my case is every other weekend. You might say thats a little excessive. But I have gotten washing, waxing, vacumming and dash cleaning down to an hour.

Has anyone use the carnuba wax? I tried it because I was told its really easy to rub off once it had hazed. NOPE it took an hour to do the hood and one door. Finally I applied my normal wax over the carnuba and then that broke the carnuba down so I could rub them both off.

WOW, that is amazing. You must move really fast. It takes me about an 1.5 hours just to wash my truck (wash, dry, wheels, wells, tires, door jams)

I use mothers clay bar and Zaino products. I thought my friend was nuts when he told me about zaino. (its a little pricey) but after using it Im sold. The zaino car wash soap alone makes my toyhauler and truck look like they were waxed all day by hand. The actual polishes are amazing and contain UV blockers that seem to work pretty well. Beads water a long time. I usually only polish once a year.

I always use Zymbol, hasn't let me down yet. Usually has a good shine and good beading for several months, I usually lose track.

When I was in college I used to cook some steaks, wash and wax my truck every friday right after classes. Now, when I have a truck worth babying like that, I don't have the time... lol.

Can you get the Zaino products from any Auto parts retailer? I would be interested in trying them out.

Thumbs up good info

I recently did a 2k mile trip so the truck needs a good wash and wax to keep it happy and to get it prepped for a very northern winter. Water still beads but you know what they say about an ounce of preparation...

I own a detail shop here in rainy Seattle WA so I use a wax that keeps the water beading up. I use a paste wax called Easy Off and its made by Car Brite. I use it on all my customers cars for the final wax and it lasts 4-5 months or so if you keep you truck washed regularly.
