any ideas???

ok, i bought a RED 03 3500 dually. the previous owner worked for an HVAC company. the truck was lettered with vinyl from front to back, on every panel except the hood, and top. this owner apparently never heard of wax either becuase most of the paint is faded and left a beautiful color behind the letters. any ideas? i tried medium cut cleaner and that wouldnt touch it. thanx...

You guys talking about me? Lol

I have seen some pretty heavy oxidized and faded paint (especially on red) before with lettering like you described. Its tough but there is hope. If you could get me a picture I could point you in the direction you want to go in. Off hand I would try. Menzerma SIP with a lake country orange cutting pad.
