I think Zaino is over rated ...

I doubt it, I know a guy with a deep green '78 Ford truck that applies his wax early in the morning, drives it around in the sun all day and takes the wax off after he gets off of work. His truck looks awesome when he's done (like looking into a bucket of paint) but he says it's a bear-cat to get off.

Lazy mans best wax.... Or my way. Every spring wash and wax with Mothers. After a week, wash and wipe down with Clean Tools Glooser wipes (Waxes and cleans). When you do your normal every other week wash, use Zep Zep-O-Shine wash and wax. Your paint will look great and water will bead like no ones business. Every two months simply wash and then wipe down with another of the Glosser wipes. This will renew the wax/bead and keep it looking fresh waxed from rain to sun all year long. The Zep-O-Shine and Glosser wipes are an amazing combination. Im sure doing a hand way every couple months is better yet, but I dont have that kind of time. I need mega-results with mini-input.

I run the clay bar over my truck and wax every 3 months with good old Mothers Carnuba. Its only takes about and hour or two, whats the big deal? Thats a small investment in a truck i love. Here in Colorado the UV exposure is some of the worst in the country, I spend a lot more time trying to protect my interior.

Prepping with a clay bar and getting ready for the polish and sealer will go a long way. Zaino is good stuff, very durable, but there are also lots of other high quality and comparable products by different companies. I just bought some Tropi-care products which were recommended to me by a friend who is well versed in detailing so I will report back on their quality after I use it.

Have to say this the over spray from my d*****s neighbors rattle can paint job on his pickup washed right off.

Anyone tried Malm's products? Their liquids go on easy and wipe off just as easy.
