SmokinDiesel - Help needed!!!!

Smokin and all others opinions wanted,

I have a 2007 car, brand new Mega Cab, and a 2000 crew cab that has sat outside in elements for 6 years, and never moved (finally rebuilt motor). I want to take good care of the 2007 & 2008 and I want to restore the 2000 as best I can. The 2000 was used for hunting so it has clearcoat scratches up and down each side, nothing deep though. Since it has sat outside the black plastic and weatherstripping is not toast but it needs a facelift. So I'm wanting to know what your suggestions are as far as getting the new vehicles of to a good start and what to use to maintain them inside and out. Then what do I need to use and do as far as the 2000 goes. The mega cab is leather, just fyi.

Thanks for all of your help.

Hey bud,

The best thing with new vehicles, in maintainence ...

Weekly washing using the two bucket meathod w/ a grit guard
Clay twice a year
Polish at least once a year (more if needed)
Trim protectant/dressing
Wheel Glaze
Wax (depending on what wax you use ... I wax monthly ... and use a sealant in the winter)

Interior is the same, wipe down and vaccum weekly.

Do a full interior detail as needed, but the weekly quick jobs cut down full details a TON

I like Pinnacle for Leather

As far as your 2000 goes
Wash
Clay
Polish (I reccomend Menzerma Polishes)
Pad selection will depend on the paints condition

Trim there are a few different routes. If it is just faded ... I highly recommend Black WOW.

lol ... Its comming ... slowly but surely its comming. Its been changed to 600+.

The custom stage 3+ head is finished, just waiting to install.

Waiting on the new 3600 DD from Peter @ Southbend still also.

Then the bullet & custom injectors will get dropped in.

Im hoping for August, but who knows if that will happen
