I started the day at 8 a.m. I bagged a couple of items that I didn't want to get wet. Then I sprayed the degreaser. Waited about 10 minutes and hosed off. I then blew most of the water off with the shop-vac. Then what was left I tried to pick up with paper towels and wiped the areas down that still needed a little attention. I then wiped it all down again with a protectant.

Next I removed all but one of the emblems on the tailgate. Still trying to figure out if I should take everything off the sides or leave the "C."

Then I proceeded to wash my truck using the two bucket method.

Then I did somthing I had never heard of until just a few months ago. I clay bared my truck. I payed close attention to the little bits of dirt that it picked up. Truthfully very little came off but, still some came off.

I then put a nice coat of Meguires NXT 2.0 on her. After the clay and the wax I have to admit, she is the smoothest vehicle I have ever ran my fingers over. I'm impressed.

I then polished the chrome and dressed the wheels and cleaned the windows inside and out.

The rest of the interior I cleaned the other day so it did not need any attention.

Just wanted to thank "SMOKIN" for all of the great info he has put up. Hopfully he will appreciate my pics.
