Cummins Detail ...

This is MY truck detail ... FINALLY!!

I was finally able to get around to detail my own truck today (I did the wheels before if you remember ... )

If was in need for it ... from the bad weather, and the last nice weather we did have ... Jeff (cummins90) and I were out together ... and got stuck in the rain, and I was behind him ... and that sure didn't help!!

I really wanted to take more pictures for you guys ... but as always, time was kinda tight again, so sorry for the lack of pictures.

Process:
Rinse
Fenders Wells & Tires (Purple Power 1:1)
Foam Pre Rinse via Foam Gun & DP Xtream Foam
Rinse
Foam Again (DP Xtream Foam)
Wash (Cobra Sponge & Shmitt)
Dry (Cobra Waffle Weave, Air Gun)
Clay (Pinnacle)
Polish Step 1(UDM, Lake Country CCS White Pad, Menzerma Intensive Polish)
Polish Step 2 (UDM, Lake Country CCS Grey Pad, Menzerma Final Polish)
LSP (Pinnacle Souveran Paste 2 Coats)
Fenderwell & Tires Basecoat (Pinnacle Black Onxy Gel)
Fenderwell Dressing (STP Son Of A Gun)
Tire Dressing (No Touch)
Plastic Polish & Dressing (Black WOW)
Chrome (Mothers/Powerball Mini)
Glass (Stoners Invisable Glass)
Total Time -7.5 hours

Befores

Afters

Comments & Questions Always Welcomed
(Some of the pictures came out blurry, and Im not sure why ... So I apologize for that!)

Those reflections are NOT easy to get with silver ...

Just kiddin. Its nice to see older trucks that are taken care of so nicley and preserved. I do my Wash ritual EVERY sunday, But only polish rims once a month. I wax the truck ever few months, And q-tip clean the inside every sunday too. If my friends say i'm ocd or obsessed....What do we call you. lol

Mike you are killing me...I wish my truck was that sharp. I washed mine today, and was going to take pictures but it has already rained on it so maybe another day...I did remove my aluminum wheels so I can get them polished up for the summer But my rust is still a big issue

Chris,
I always look forward to your posts ... Because I know that you appriciate the work that goes into this

Im just mad that these pictures aren't the best. I will try to get setup and get some really nice pictures soon ... But again, I wanted to share with you guys, so I just delt with it.

Poor lighting, my camera was not cooperating, not the best angles, and a horrible spot ... But all in all ... you get the idea
