Paint Overspray

Well, my gpa today asked me to see about removing some overspray on his truck that someone got on it. Its a red ford and he said its a white water based paint all over the driver's side.

My question is, what is the best and easiest way to get this stuff off of the paint, glass, plastic. Didn't know if clay would be enough.

Thanks,

Billy

overspray clay is the best, plus it will really clean the rest of the paint job up.

I also recommend trying a clay bar first. I would use plenty of lube and fold/knead clay bar often as it will load up quickly.

Again go with the clay first. If it fails you can try buffing. If your still S.O.L. thinner on a microfiber should do the trick. Just watch the clear coat and you will have to buff out the rub marks when your done.

I'm a painting contractor, I've had guys overspray cars with laytex paint a few years ago. The clay bars is the way to go, it just take time. make sure you use the lubrication spray that is included in the kit. Most kits can be found at walmart.

Claying isn't that time consuming
