How to get Water spots off paint and windows?

Can any of you detailing guru's give me some advice on how to get california hard water spots off my paint and windows?

I've tried wax, window cleaner, vinegar and lime away with no success.....

Any advice is appreciated.

go to an auto paint store and get some water based precleaner, it'll usually clean the hard water spots right off.

theres also "cleaning" waxes available. or a real light weight rubbing compound. and then go back over it with a detailers wax

DONT USE LIMEAWAY ON YOUR PAINT!

Geeze ... what people do today!!

A cleaner wax wont do anything if the water "etched" into the paint. After you wax and clay ... your going to need to polish your paint with a machine. Menz IP/SIP will take care of the problem, followed by a final polish ... then wax

Yeah, Fast Orange is awesome. I've never used it on a truck, and I don't think I will ever be brave enough to. But it works very well on counter tops, clothes, sinks, walls, and all kinds of other junk. Good stuff.
