Dash and trim protectant

I have seen where several memebers think Armor all is bad and attracts hair and lint. What would be a good product to used then, no I don't want to use baby oil.....

thanks

I use whatever pepboys or autozone has on sale. I bought a bunch of black magic last time and i have no problems with it.

I think its more of an opinion issue.

Pinnacle makes a fantastic Vinyl and rubber protectant. If you are on a bit of a budget, DP is good too. Pinnacle is water based and I believe DP is too so they will not yellow your dash or attract dust and hair or leave an oilly residue. Both are more of a Matte finish so if you like an extremely shiny dash, they arent for you.

Go into a checker or autozone and ask for something that doesn't evaporate your dahs's Bis-(2-ethylhexyl)phthlateakadioctyl phthlate (it's what makes your dash plyable and where most of that new car smell comes from) and watch the blank look on their face.

I bought some 303 and let me tell you never will I use another cleaner for my autos. 303 Aerospace Protectant has UV blockers and is not oil based so it does not "build up" over time.

But some people do like that leftover film shine....to each his own. I myself will never buy another truck that has been armor all'd no matter how cheap it is unless they pay to have it removed.

Yup ... I use both Pinnacle, DP & 303 ... but I use the pinnacle the most. The natural look of vinyl is a matte/satin finish. Anything that is super shiney gives it a very artificial look

I use Meguiars Hyper-Dressing. Its water based and you can adjust its level of shine with the proper dillution.

$40 for a gallon that makes four gal, a little overkill for one vehicle

Meguiars # 40 for me. Smells clean, water based and gives a very natural look.

That is what the Meguiars rep sold me at the bike rally for my truck. Something about it has good UV protection also.
