Hello well prom is coming up and this kid i know is borrowing his cousins (which I also know) truck it is a 2002 Cummins all stock except edge comp, fass 90, K&N, 5'" exhaust. Any ways this kid is talking up the truck like no other saying how fast and powerfull it is and I just laugh at him! So of course he wants to race and im more than willing to show him up, but theres always that little voice in my head thats worried should I be?

good! thanks for the assurance, i wanna run as hard as possible to show him up i will play and tweak things friday but any suggestions like 5x1 or 3x5 as setting so i dont choke out the turbo... too much lol

That's what you do out in the country man. Best bet though, just run it til you start to pull away. Once you start leaving him, or vice-versa, it's over. Bring on the bragging rights!!!

I sold my 500 HP 99' Cummins to a 19 year old kid a couple years back, he didn't even make it 5 blocks away before he was pulled over for excessive speeding. He called and begged me to come pick up the truck so it wouldn't get impounded. I let the police take-it, I hope he learned to respect that truck after that, 500 rwhp x 7000 lb 4x4 truck in the hands of a 19 year old is a lethal combination.
I decided if I ever sell another high horsepower truck, it's going to a responsible adult, not just a legal adult.
cause only 500hp trucks can speed! just giving ya a hard time, belive me I know there are stupid kids out there. I see a lot of them everyday, but theres a few good apples out there and itry to be one of them. Ill take all the negative comments as "dont be stupid and reckless" advise thank you
