Im guessing that you are on your stock clutch? ...
If so ... they dont launch to well ... Look to upgrade to a clutch that can hold some power. I recomend South Bend Clutches.

Mines not a G56 but if you run it up to 3k or so and start letting the clutch out slowly enough so that the rpm's stay above say 2k. A stock clutch isn't going to be very happy with you if you do that to it though

well im on my second stock clutch. but plan on buying a con fe from sbc soon as i get the money. i figured beings i work at the dealer i would use it to my advantage so i just had another stock one installed.
also on a wide open throttle run between the 3rd and 4th shift the truck feels like it falls on its face and then sputters, then all power is back. that is when i get back on it in fourth that all this occurs. do you think that just a crazy larry program fuels enough to run the rail dry? and has any one else experianced this.
back on topic though so if i take it to about 3 grand and slowly release the clutch i can leave in third.

well i dont have a fuel pressure gauge yet but soon. i just cant believe that the crazy larry program fuels that much. but i will be investing in a fass system soon.

I can't launch 3rd with my 35's. I am running the south bend dd with 6botton and 3600lb pp. I found this weekend that i cut about 2 seconds off my time going 2 to 4th. My brother on stock tires and clutch was launching in 3rd and running low 15's.
