Who has had "VIN Mismatch" when trying to switch programmers?

I have posted this on other forums, but I'll try here also.

Hopefully someone has been through this before. I bought a couple other programs to compare on the drag strip with the Smarty. I returned the Smarty to stock, yet when I plug in another Program (bullydog or diablo), they say "VIN Mismatch". This has happened when I try three other downloaders other than the Smarty. It will reload the Smarty, yet it won't let me load any other programmer. Has anyone else had this problem? If so, how did you correct it? Bob called me today as I was having the computer reflashed with the stock tune at the dealership. That didn't work either. He's trying to help, though I was just wondering if anyone else had been through this.. Any info would be great.. Thanks..

Thanks for trying to help me Bob.. Tim at Bully Dog said on some of the 06's, the triple dog has been holding the vin from the previous truck. This is even if it is off loaded from the previous truck correctly. That was the problem.. Now the Diablo says I need an update.. haha.. About the time I get the numbers from these, hopefully Bob will have some new stuff to try.. haha.. Anyway.. Problems are fixed for now..
