Racing Ford Boys

This weekend at the rodeo, a couple of guys and me were bench racing about our trucks, when we decided to take them down the road to bust em out.
There were two PSD and me being the only cummins. I really wasnt in the mood to race, so I let the Joke boys duke it out for a while. So after they got through scratching their way through a couple of races, the faster of the two Fords decided to take a stab at me. He was running a straight exhaust, intake, dealer superchip, and the ford superchip programmer. He has been tellin me all of these stories about how he beats trans ams and what not. So we line em up. Me with smarty power and my exhaust, 8 psi boost launch with stock clutch. I beat him by 3 lengths and spun the tires through 3rd.

Thats awesome! I'm with you on beating them PSD's all my buds and family members with oil burners all have intertrashionals(PSD). But i don't let them dog me too much. They always seem to get quiet when it comes to putting the rubber to the road.

A funny story, my uncle has an 02 PSD with a bullydog 100hp chip and 5in. exhaust and BDintake. I told "BBRam" how he talks smack about dodges, He said that he would run my uncle. My uncle backed down with out hesitation, and came up with some lame excuses.

Im from Big Spring, Texas. Its down the road from Lubbock about 90 miles.

Yeah, after the race went down, he wouldnt even make an excuse. He just told me, "Dang dude, that truck will run." The other Ford didnt even want to dance after watching the beatin that just happened. I forgot to mention that I was only running the Smarty on SW5 and am still runnin the stock airbox. So, if anything, It could have gotten way ugly. Now im out lookin for some rice to eat.

Tell your ford buddy to put another superchipper on there. If they are good for 65HP a piece, then he should ave like 500 HP right?

Haha, yah, to hear him tell it. He thinks hes puttin down somewhere in the neighborhood of 400 horses. I just laugh it off, cuz I know how hard it is for a PSD to make that many horses, and his superchips aint gettin him there.

Good job on the race!! By the way, it's ok to say your 40 miles west of Midland rather than 90 miles from Lubbock!! Don't be ashamed!!

If you ever run @ DTR, shoot me a PM......We usually have a big crew show up.
