I am going to the 1/8 track next weekend. I have an edge comp, straight pipe, and K&N....and thats all. My truck is an 01 5spd qcsb 2x4 that weighs 6300. Does anyone have an idea what its going to run? Im thinking maybe high 9's @ 75ish mph or am i being too greedy?
sorry guys wrong engine but when i had my dmax with a qaud box and 35x12.50's i would avg 9.2 no lie. haven't tried my cummins yet

Auto/Dmax's are fast....I already knew that. There is one at a local track that runs consistent 7.7-7.9 1/8th miles. slicks on all 4's and nothing but a box and big exhaust. Im afraid youre gonna be disappointed with your cummins timeslip although it will undoubtedly last longer. I was sure hoping I would at least be in the 9's with a 120hp upgrade.
that is crazy fast, hard to believe with just a box and exhaust, not saying not possible.

My d-max did a 9.44 at 76.3 mph, non boosted launch, just floor boarding it. A proper launch would have been a lot better though, this was also just trying out a new efi tune with some flaring on 3-4 & 4-5 shifts
my son called last nite all excited he went to the track for his first time in his 96 3500 extended cab dually 2 wheel drive 8.22 & 87 mph in the 1/8 I think that's pretty darn good .
