Ceramic vs Feramic...

OK this is still a toss up. I am going to get a DD here as soon as I make up my mind. I am looking at either the 3850 with the ceramic or feramic. Some have told me to get get the feramic since I was to do some sled pulling while others said that the ceramic will hold up just fine. I know more people running the ceramic, so I want to know what you feramic guys think of them. Thought I would ask here since Peter @ SBC is on vacation.
Thanks

Feramic will put up with slipping better. It mostly depends on how much you are planning to pull. 3 or 4 times a year, same some $$ and get the ceramic. If you alot of pulling 15-20 times a year with a few pull offs get the feramic. Especially if there are pull offs or more than one hook in a night the feramic will hold up better. Usually when I have a second hook I do better on the second one. Plus I drive over 2000 miles a week and tow occasionally. It has taken all the abuse I could dish out and gave it to the tires!

Streetwise get the ceramic, but if you plan on pulling get the FE. Cause we all know there will be the one night when you will try the hero gear and you don't want the clutch to let you down.

If you pull alot i would go with a sintered iron disk. Im running a haisley street puller clutch and love it. They are a little pricy though.

the feramic has the ability to slip and not really be hurt. the ceramic is a tougher clutch as far as holding power but if you ever slip it from what i have ben told its down hill from there!!! i know three guys running dd feramic clutches and trash them and they are still good as new!!! i would say feramic all the way if your gonna do any kind of regular sled pulling!
