axles??

I got a question about axles for an '01 2500. I keep busting axles. Went through 2 sets of stockers and 1 set of Mosers. Twistting off right at the splines. Truck did not bounce on any pulls, just when I get down around 300 feet the sled pulls the rear down and the tires start diggin hard then snap! busted axle!

Any suggestions on what axles to run?? was looking at scs billets, but they're expensive! are they worth it??

Dana 70 or 80? If its a 70 you need to upgrade to an 80. if its an 80 get a set of Haisley axles.

AXLES, HEAVY DUTY, DANA 80, 35 SPLINE, 37 SPLINE, DANA 60 ONE PIECE - Haisley Machine

Yea I had a couple local guys tell me to do a swap like that, but i'm just trying to figure out all my options before I tear into it.

Have anyof you guys ever messed with that cryogenic treatment of the axles??

Call and talk to Haisleys. Then can give you every bit of info you need and it will be from the horses mouth, not I heard or I know a guy that knows a guy.

Did you do a swap, because if not your truck would only have a dana 70 with the auto? Either way you wont brake a set of haisley axles if you are running a 80.
