5600 conversion list
i need a list of parts to convert a 2002 old bs 4x4 cummins from a auto to a nv5600 manual. thanks for your help... mark

i would. i just did a swap for a guy in a 12v truck and he spent almost $7k on all the parts. he got alot of it from Mopar and South Bend. take it he probibly didnt shop around but still.

Make youself a list of the needed parts for the swap.... then start shopping or like "jrmoparin91" suggests, find a doner. Also I do believe that a 2002 would have had the 47RE (electronic) so I'm wondering if you would have to figure how to terminate the electronics, so that you are not throwing the check engine light??? Hopefully someone knows if that's an issue and how it is solved.

As for a list..... here is what come to mind. NV5600 Adapter plate Bellhousing Fork & bearing Flywheel 13" Clutch 13" w 1-3/8 input Hydraulics - master/slave Transfer case - 29 spline input Brake/clutch peddle assembly Manual steering column Shift boot Anything else?
