8.3 cummins in a Dodge?

Has anyone ever seen or heard of someone putting a 8.3 in a dodge?

Do you think it would fit without cutting or major mods?

I heard of it being done. they had to cut the fire wall and I pretty sure they reinforced the frame. Sounds like a cool project

If it dont fit get a bigger hammer

There is no way the already mediocre front end would support the weight.

The ones I've driven in the 10 ton dump trucks have bin turds. I think the money that would be spent on the conversion could make a 5.9 a barn burner.

And have a custom windshield made. Remember how far back a 5.9 sits in a dodge let alone a 8.3. It will definitely be a some trimming required job. LOL
