1968 Corvette Cummins

I have been working on this thing on and off now for a few months. It is finally at picture status. LOL The engine is a 98 12v. It has a 180hp IP on it that flowed over 500cc's of fuel last year. It has 300hp marine injectors, a S300 turbo, ARP head studs, and a lot more. The tranny is by far the weakest link. It is a A618 non lock up OD unit from a 92 Dodge 1 ton. It has a RV torque convertor and has 30k on a rebuild. The rear end is a 9" ford and it will have 3.50 gears to start out with. The rear tires are 31" tall and 18.5" wide. It has coil over shocks in the rear with 4 link rear suspension. Hopefully someday I can utilize the wheelie bars. LOL Here are some pics of it.

Very unique. Nice work. Are you going to drag with it. I know that it will turn some heads.

Thanks, it did take some work to fit in there. The tranny tunnel could have been lower but I wanted to make sure I had some room to work if I ever have to swap things in a hurry. Yes I plan on drag racing it, and hopefully it will be before the summer is over with. LOL
