Hey guys I new to this, thread and Forum stuff. I would like to share what I am doing with my 1978 Ford F250 Crew Cab and maybe get some Give and take on some info. If you can help me with my postings and where to go I will get this thing rolling.
I am putting a 1995 5.9 cummins In my crew. I will run custom fuel tank which is being built right now, Air Dogg 100 gph lift pump, custom FAB crossmembers, Pro Comp guages, custom interior, custom dash, Still working on Ideas for engine paint and color, frame off restore, dana 60 front, 70 rear, onboard air, and bags, powdercoated axels and frame, bigger injectors custom exaust (not stacks), should be fun.
I need all the help I can get on posting and keeping up with comments so help me out
Nice looking pickup. It sounds like quite a list. One question though, why powder coat the axles? It sounds like a heck of a cost an effort for something so close to the ground.

I hope this will reply, I'm not sure how to use this site, not real tech-y. Is there a stronger option? I will have all new guts and knuckles. I will have them pull all the old stuff out and give me the tubes knuckles and pumpkins back. Since everything is apart I was hoping to send frame and undercarage in all at once for the discount on blasting and powder coating. 700$ for everything. If you have an idea to save some money I'm all ears! I just don't want to have to be under there painting them all the time.
Hey if you don't mind could you let me know how to post pics. Another question for you if you dont mind. does it make things easyer to post pics and enjoy the threads, to pay for a membership or just keep the free one. Thanks for looking!
Well I have alot of pics of the tear down of the Dodge and the Ford. I dont think I will put all of them on here for the fact most is just for me to be able to put it back together now that it is just down to the frame. But if you guys need specific stuff let me know I will reply when I can. The Railroad is not super forgiving on time. Here are a couple pics of the truck when I got them to the House.
