Good question, Ive been wondering the same myself, and if it would even be worth it. Guess we'll just have to wait for someone to try it, eh?

Ive been looking into this to do it on an 04. I think the colom shifter, wire harness, 68RE transmission, computer, and alter the mounts and driveshafts and that should about do it.

Im looking for parts right now if i can find some proly going to do it.

What's the 68RE out of? I'm a manual transmission guy and don't keep up with the autos much, hadn't heard of that one before.
