UPDATE pics 85 k20 chevy/cummins conversion

Here ya go, its not the best looking swap but it works.
Its an 85 k20 that i bought four years ago, and it was terrribally rough. It is now three diffent trucks, and now i'm puttin in a 95 CTD.

Looking good!!! That picture of the chevy small block next to th HUGE Cummins is awesome!! Looks like the 5.9 is ready to gobble up that 350!!!

Ya the small block was built for 400 hp but its nothing like the 400 hp my 02 CTD makes so guess what out with the small block in with the Cummins.
Hey shortbedcrew did you body lift you chevy to get eveything to fit better.

what tranny are you running behind the thing - in the chevy or whatever it is going in now.

Yeah 5.9 guy, I built a 2" bodi lift out of solid round aluminum stock, im way too cheap to buy one, I think it helped a little with clearances and remember, with the chevys if you raise your fuel tanks and bumpers its hard to tell theres a bodi lift on them. Keep up the good work man!

I'm going to be running the 47rh from the dodge with DTT parts, the th400 i'm sure will not last long if i were to use it.

Yeah i think i'm going to have to put a body lift on to so that the exhaust will fit better and so the i can get to the top bolts of the trans better.

Well now the engine is pretty much done besides some wireing, it runs so now its time to wait on some parts.
Hopefully i get my DTT parts this week so i can build the transmission and get this thing driving.

thats awesome, I have an 83 that i want to make "run Better" and by that i mean Cummins under the hood.

2014 RAM 2500 mega 4x4 auto coil sprung x4 stock for now

Yep i plan on running two electric pusher fans up front, most guys who do the cummins chevy swap run electric fans.
