The rear suspension is going to be a four link setup, top links being triangulated so that I don’t need a pan hard bar. The air bags that I’m running on the back have 11" of travel, the reason for this is I’m going to set up the air ride to drop the truck down as far as the tires in wheel wells will allow for easy entrance/exit of the truck. I’m running a auto leveling valve off of a semi truck for ride height.
As for the front suspension I’m going to cut off the coil spring mounts and make some new ones that will allow for some air bags up front also, smaller in diameter but still will have the same amount of travel as the rear bags. I'm still stuck on the link setup that I’m going to do up front, debating between four link with pan hard bar, or a long arm type "Y" link suspension like they are running on the newer jeeps. Any info that anybody has about building long arm set up would be great as I have never done this set up before. I’m doing the air suspension because I really have wanted to do air suspension on a truck similar to Kildermann air ride, only build my own. All of the brackets that I'm making are made out of 1/4" plate for ridge ability and strength; the links that I’m going to run are creeper joints almost the same as the Johnny joints. Let me know what you guys think I'm open to suggestions and comments. Thanks for the coments.

Nice welds by the way - but I do have one question. In looking through all your pics of the parts it looks like you are keeping "corners" on everything. Like the tabs for the rear heims on the 4 link above. Any reason everything is cut at an angle or semi "square" cut and not rounded off?

![]() As for your coment about you working on your truck for a year now, i had to kind of laugh, i have almost three years on this thing, not sraight tho, started working on it Jan 06, worked on it throught high school, not much progress than, than after i graduated i was working on the thing everynight for about three months. than i just got burnt out on the thing so i didn't even touch the truck till the end of this summer when i finnaly got the want to finnish the thing, so i have about one year of actual work on it, only about one and half months on the suspention and engine swap, the rest of the time was on the body work. I learned that i hate body work! The other thing that sucks is when you are 21 years old, you dont have allot of money to spend on stuff like that, so i would have to say that is the biggest thing that is making the project go slow. I just need to win the lotto!!

ok - I get ya. The "squared" type edges totally bug me but that's what makes this stuff cool. Build what YOU want as it is YOUR truck!
If we all like the same thing there would be no variety in the word
