the 205 was bolted behind chev 1 tons that had the nv4500, and the 205 was behind the 618's and getrag 5 spd's in the early 90's dodges

should bolt up i'd check out your splines

there is that sleeve that mates your Trans output to the tcase input i'd look into the aftermarket for a new one... i'm sure somebody has done it before... i've thought of droppin my 241 for a ford 205...

a 2wd trans and a divorced 205 would be sick too... (equal length driveshafts and not-so steep driveline angles) but you need to make one hell of a beefy crossmember to keep that thing anchored to the frame. I had a hard time keepin the divorced 205 in my 74 powerwagon with a worn out 318, let alone a cummins

go boggin... barely wash it, then park it in the backyard for awhile

seen it lots... unless you own a pressure washer its a pain to clean'm.

after we take my buddies 75 power wagon out (locked front and rear, 60F, 70 rear, 8 in suspension 3 inch body, 440 punched out, np425 and np205) takes us about 2 hours to clean it up

sometimes it gets cleaned... sometimes not so much.

if you can afford the gas and the money to lift and for tires you can pry afford 30 40 bux of undercoat from autozone u know. and 5 bux for a pressure wash.

and im pissed. my por 15 still hasnt come. well half of it did. havent got my rust preventer. just my chassis coat. which is what i need to coat first. F'in ebay.

i wanna get this dang thing sand blasted soon. so it starts lookin better. im tired of lookin at a rusty old P.O.S

but anywho. motor&trans is comin out today. just gotta unbolt the drive shaft a few hoses and the mounts.

might even take my cab up too the offroad place to get my floor pans fixed. possibly.
might just save my money for my trans and stuff first. then do that later.

Talking

Got my hood all high temp painted today.

Ohh yah and got the motor, trans, t-case, and driveshafts off

my tear down is offically complete besides some interior peices and my brake system.

the motor came out pretty easy. the tractor didnt like lifting summin that heavy tho. but other than that its all good.

I have thursday off work and class so ill pry spend it cleaning up the motor and trans to get ready to sell. hopefully my por-15 will be here by then so i can sand blast the frame and get it all coated.

Nice project - I love the 73-79 Fords. We use a '78 F150 with a 300 to plow snow.
