I have always wondered, where do you hook up the engine to the truck? like ignition of engine to key? throttle? anything else?

pulled to front cover today, and no kdp damage pins still there. also replaced oilpan gasket and painted it. will get pics tomorrow. im still waiting on my adapter plate. i also sanded and polised one valve cover to see if i liked the look, now i guess i gotta do the other 5.

that is crazy yer trucks painted the same way i just painted mine like that last year. heres a lil history on it

got it like this

then i got a box and got rid of the other front bumper and put a 3 in body lift on and got some 36in military tires

then the cab supports were getting real bad so i did a body swap and went with the 96 body style i like the newer look better.

I’ am looking forward to more pics of your swap. I just started looking into this. I have a 97 f250hd converted to Dana 60. It has a 351 and the gas is killing me. I had a 1984 250 with a 6.9 before but the body rotted out. I have a 87 350 dump with a 6.9. I love diesels. I should of bought a diesel but the 97 came along and was a good price because the ttb front end was shot and the truck only had 40,000 on it.

well guys im still waiting for my adapter plate so i was kinda at a stand still. i replaced the oilpan gasket, KDP fix, painted it, new front main seal and front cover gasket. i got bored so i used some aircraft strippen on my valve covers then sanded one with 320 and didi a quick test with a mothers buff ball and some flitz polish. i liked how it came out so i ordered a poishing kit for an extra bench grinder i have and im gonna polish the rest of them and maybe some other stuff depends on how long i have to wait for my adapter.

painted. dont mind my mess of a garage i took stuff ouside to paint then i started pourin after i was done so everything had to come in. just haven't put it all away yet

valve covers shinier one was my quick polish test. and the other are just stripped
