the 4.10s were too high for my taste and i was running 35 inch tires. Luckily i still had my old 3.55 axles so i swapped them back in and i like it much better now

i use my truck for a little of everything and 65 was about topped out with 4.10s, i run the highway a couple times a month so i didn't like that. but if it was just used locally i could have dealt with. hope that clears it up

what RPM are you "topping out" at?

I plan on running the NV4500, 35's and 4.10 gears - but was considering possibly going to 3.73's of the 4.10's were too "short".

well dang. Looks like I may be going to 3.73's

I've got the 4.10's in the rear axle already and the plan was to see how I liked those before I paid to put the 4.10's in the front. Now I may have to pay to re-gear both the front AND rear axles though. The dang front is a 3.55 and I think that's too tall

I was checking out fordcummings.com and I see they sell a engine mount kit. Its supposed to come with new water necks and stuff to make stock gauges work. Did you use this or just buy the mounts? Did you use the dodge radiator did the dodge hoses fit if you did. How does the dodge alternator work. is it hard to wire into the ford? Is it internal or external regulator? Do you use the dodge flywheel and clutch? Thanks
