if i could do it i think its safe to say anyone can, im no expert but it seems the more patients you have in the sanding process the better the results

no news yet still waiting for parts, well i changed the head gasket just for my own peice of mind. parts have been shipped o hope fully tuesday they will be here, im getiing ver impatient.

well got some parts but still waitin on flywheel bolts. the motor mounts are suppose to be bolt in but i really dont get how that works maybe i will undertand when its in the truck. i just dont inderstand what they mount to in the truck?

That is apparently their new style mount. I would say you drill the frame and bolt them directly to it.

thats kinda what i thought i was looking at americanthunders bonco and his mounts were simular and he made a plate with a stud that bolted to the frame. so are there much different than what you got?

How much do they charge you for those mounts?

Looks like $10 worth of steel and some time with a band saw, drill and welder.


Amaizingly though - they look MUCH better than older products I have seen from them.

Funny - I used to joke I could weld better blindfolded - haha.

i think they were like 200 but like an idiot i ordered the stuff before i really researched like i should have. but ya live and learn. i have the motor bolted to the tranny and sittin on the frame rails. just got home from work so i got to get goin on now. It snowed a lil yerturday, melted the same day, so that means i need this done for when it really snow and i gotta plow

I'm thinking of doing the same style, I have the OBS mount (simular to the orig fords) but have always liked the racecar style. 1 bolt in/out.
