cummins in a chevy. HELP

I got a 81 chevy pick up and i want to put a cummins in its. where do i start any help

I would start by getting all the major parts together like engine and trans , then pull the motor and trans and put the cummins in its place.
94 Dodge 1500 2wd powered by a 2005 Cummins 3.9 4BTAA 27mpg 95 Dodge 2500 4x4 boost elbow (35psi) #10 fuel plate 99 2500 4x4 edge juice with attitude. 01 f650 with 5.9 cummins. 06 2500 all stock for now

Find A Lightly Rolled Dodge. You Would Be Suprised All Of The Stuff That Will Interchange!!! Mine Was A 2001 24v Nv 4500 Trans. That I Put In A 1988 V-30 Crew Cab-old Body Style. Fit Great With Tech Help From Autoworld In Montana.

i'd definitely find a runnin and driving dodge so you can get every single part so you won't have to go searching for anything, it makes things easier.
