To the skydive boy in Greeley today...

Wooow....

3rd gen skydive sticker in the back window boy thought it was cooooooooool to make a poor attempt to blow smoke at me. It's all good, you on your dual exhaust and your edge and i kept up with you with the basics listed below. All Good homie. How's the clutch, by the way? Was going to invite you over for a beer after playing around and having some fun, but apparently you weren't interested, couldn't even look over at me while sitting at the next red light. Huh...must have been a previous ford or chhhevy owner i'm guessing. That poor truck, hard to believe that its a 3rd generation with your door trim falling off and the tailgate missing...oh wait, that must be for aerodynamics, right?

I'm sure the honda folks have about had enough with your games, but like I said, it's all good here homie...that beer will be in the frig if you decide to cool your jets long enough to hang out with your fellow cummins owners. Don't be mad...the topper isn't heavy enough to keep the 285's on the ground, but it sure comes in handy for keeping the beer cold.

Peace, whoever you are...

Made me laugh hard, I think I saw that truck the other day. I ran to La Salle to pick up a light plant I won at a auction. He was riding my for a while, I got tired of it so I gave him a big load of soot. Next chance he got, he was able to pull infront of me because of traffic. He cut me off to get in my face and tried to give me a load. I just backed off from behind him and made him look like a . I think the cop that was behind us thought he was a also because he pulled from the center lane, passed me and swung into the little gap I had vacated. The truck made a fast right turn onto a side street and the cop followed him. I just kept on cruizing along, headed home with a smile.

98andahalf - i'd say a little of both at the time i wrote it. Kind of a "Here's an ice cold beer, now shut up and sit down"

J REED '98 6BT - can't fix stupid....i like that hahaha! Nah, I was driving north on 85 on my way home and he just appeared. We took off from the same light at the same time and I was driving normally, holding about 2k until i reached the speed limit (50), no big deal...and then i hear him hit it hard and dive in front of me...slow down...then jam it again for that attempt to smoke it. I wound up behind him at the next light and when it turned green, you can hear him throwing the gears around and again...minimal smoke coming out of the duals. At this point...i was kind of intrigued and so i waited until he was done accelerating and then took mine of of o.d. and let er rip...i went by him at about 75, making a hell of a lot of noise is all. hahaha WWeeeeeeeeeeeee!!! By the time we reached town, we were at the light again side by side and I looked over, thinking that maybe he'd be laughing and having a good time with it...and that's when i noticed the edge on the A-pillar. HMMMM!!! He never looked over and I didn't think anything more of it, knowing that he's gonna tear me apart if we actually went off the light and he's turned up and i have nothing. That is until he started going through the gears again at the green, which at that point, let's see what kind of difference that edge makes and i pressed the skinny pedal down and stayed side by side with him until he let off (i think we were both a little nervous about tearing up 8th ave at 60 and continuing to accelerate, both of us demufflerized ?) and i began to brake and coast past the college til we hit the 16th st light and then he tried to cut me off before i made it to the turn lane. That's when i got a little frustrated with him. But all is still good and you're right, there will always be a truck that wants to smoke me out of mine, but i would suspect that they would be a little bit less of an idiot about it. Smoke me...laugh about it with me and then let's have some beers and hang out...no harm done.

notomas - Classic!!! I love it when that happens just right!!! Maybe he's holding a grudge now...who knows!

I couldn't believe how good that blue moon tasted when i got home...too bad nobody was around to enjoy it with me!

Atleast you still get to play with people, my trucks reputation precedes itself round' here.

That's to bad though, atleast have a good time with it. If I was beat I'd be excited and more than willing to talk to the guy who did it(I'd have some questions!). I got into it with an 06 that had a Juice/Att on the highway last week and when I pulled away he was grinning and waving that makes it so much more fun. Really I love a good race, it keeps me motivated to keep on with the truck.

Hey brandencummins...I will definitely have to get a rain check for meeting up this weekend. The wife and I are headed to Des Moines to go pick up a camper we bought to replace the broken pop up we have now. I'm going to miss that old pop up, but going to love this hybird!!! Especially at the price we got it at! Perhaps we can try it in a couple of weekends (27th)? Looks like we already have another camping trip planned for the 20th.

Thats what i'm talkin about...I fully expected this guy to walk away from me, I wasn't pissed...just curious on just how quickly it would strut its stuff before we had to let off. Edge...duals w/ decent sound...just needs a new driver and it would be perfect. Oh, and either pull the door trim off or repair it. For as much as we pay for these trucks, you'd think he would take more care of it and not let it look like he rolled it a few times out on the farm playing dukes of hazzard in the back 40. YeeeeeeeHaaaaaaaaaaa!!!

I saw this post and almost cried when i came down for DF and ATS On The Mountain i was heading towards berthoud i forget the road but i know the truck he puffed a small hint of smoke so i past him on the shoulder waited till we got to an intersection let her peddle down into second and as soon as the lights changed yellow......i slammed on it and i think i laid about a quarter tank on him he caught up w/ me, gave me the finger and took off. Not like i can say much bout the truck my doesn't have a tailgate neither needs a paint job but mine goes faster and pours it out the stack like water. Unfortunately that's what got me that ticket in Ft. Collins the next day.
