inj timing

I am a class 8 tech working in south west colorado. I have been working on a ford 7000 with a B5.9 12v the truck would just disapear in white smoke at 2000rpm. I found the cam pin to inj pump timing was right on, after a lot of testing i found crank to cam timing was wrong has anybody seen the crank pin slip?:thumbsup

morn n, assume your work n with a p series and not a ve pump? have seen crank gears broke/miss n teeth but not spun. give folks a bit more info. any recent work? come on all a once? miles? missing? hard start? anything else? gw
