Chapter Program
Okay ladies and gents, we are launching our new chapter program. We have decided to do this for 2 reasons, one benefits us, and the other benefits you. First, our benefit will be local boys having a new club looking to bolster their ranks, which gets us new members. We have a goal of 5 digit membership by the end of the year, and we need your help to do it. Second, your benefit, will be bringing your local guys together into a bonifide group, which will raise comradery in your area and open avenues for countless round-ups and events. Case in point, the Cummins bombers will no longer be loosely dotted around the country, but will be a tight family and enjoy the outcome of learning where everyone is. So how is it going to work? It's quite simple, at this stage, we're looking for chapter presidents to represent each U.S. state, as well as each Canadian province. We realize that some states and provinnces are geographically large, and will be hard to handle from one chapter chair. To aid in this, we will appoint one president for each state, and at that time, if he/she feels the state/province needs to be devided, we will do so. When each state is set-up with a president, we would like all the members residing in that state to become members of the chapter, and as a chapter, decide on a nickname for your chapter. Think of it as your own club, but with CumminsForum.com to back you. I have designed a chapter logo for each state that will be waiting for a club name to finish each of them off. The presidents will get a copy of this logo in a ready to use format for local print/apparel shops, so that you may print stickers, make shirts, business cards, whatever you want. Your chapter officers will be in charge of all of your chapter finances, and we're not charging a dime for this year's calendar. We want to see our members have more than just a website to visit. We want to see local clubs form and enjoy the brothership we enjoy here on a national level. CumminsForum will be the place to mget together for everyone in the country, but the state organizations will fill in the gaps and provide an personable aspect to being a part of the best site on the net. You will see a link for each state, and whitmore is already doing role call for his state. I recommend everyone else do the same, figure out who, of the thousands of members we have, lives where and is interestred in this program. Talk about names, and be thinking about presidents. If someone wants to take the next step into presidency, PM me and get the ball rolling. Additionally, any questions should be directed to me via PM or email. I will answer them as fast as I can, but remember, I work too!! So that's it for now, go to your state link and start a role call, and any other general questions not pertaining to specific states can be asked here. Let's keep the chit chat to a minimum though and keep the thread on point. Incidentally, here's an example of a state logo.....this is not Florida's logo, just an example. Your will be the same other than the chapter nickname, background state, and chapter information. The truck, CF, and colors are unified, and will be on all the state logos. I put the logo on a black background for this one, but it will actually be a vector, backgroundless image. I had to reduce resolution as well, so the quality suffered a little to post it here, but the actual logos will be sharp and ready to print.

Well I already run the MN Chapter of the TDR. I'd be more than happy to continue doing things that way, or if MN guys want to take over this side of things...that's fine. You all will still be more than welcome at the MNTDR stuff. DD

Okay, you guys that are interested in President of their respective states need to PM me with that interest if you haven't done so already. I need to keep this as organized as i can, which means not having to chase threads to find out who's interested. Thanks to those who have shown a willinglyness to participate, we put a lot of work into this long before we ever launched, and it's nice to see dividends. Now....with 1800 active members, 6400 registered users, and 600-900 daily member logins, I was hoping for a better result than we are getting so far. Let's get involved folks and at least check in with your chapters and let them know where you are in your state. Presidents need to be decided on soon to go to the next step. P.S. Here's the email for use with chapter correspondance... nationalchapter@bellsouth.net Thanks, Chris

The 6 states that make up New England are very small. Any thought into having a New England Chapter instead of individual state chapters? Maybe to start and then have the State Chapters branch off as the membership grows?

Learn something new everyday Doug, what six states are those and we'll handle it accordingly, what does everyone else in those states think? Chris
