Seriously, save yourself from here. You can go to a lot of places by San Diego to ride. I was out there 2 weeks ago. I would stay away from CA.

Glamis shouldn't be too far for a weekend trip I think... I really have no idea where it is exactly, I've just seen too many Quick Sands videos.... Looks like a fun place.

Ocotilla Wells, Glamis, Plaster City, Ocotillo, Buttercup, Gordons Well are the larger places but are a few other smaller places I can't remember. Plenty of tracks in the area also.

Ditto on that. I can be out there riding in an hour or two. A lot of the places down by the border that you used to able to ride on (Palm Ave), got developed on. Baja is also a very close alternative, although you have to be willing to dodge bullets and crooked cops going through Tijuana. Don't fret the politics, they don't blanket your day to day life. Besides, the weather is a frickin joke. Its like an endless summer. I surf 12 months a year.

Theres also Corral Canyon OHV. I wouldnt take your truck on any trails out there but theres lots of trails for your bike. Everything from easy to hard. I take my jeep out to play there some times.
