Ok lets assume that this smog crap happens. For all of you running programmers cant you just take them off? Also would a smog tech even be able to tell the difference between a stock turbo and a performance one? (The only snag here is for those that are running twins.) And for the smoke, theres gotta be a way to make a trap in our exhaust that looks like a muffler/ cat.

woudlnt twins be a good thing cuz it will help with the smoke?? i hate this crap!!!

also, i was thinking bout buying a used cat, cutting it in half and hollowing it, putting it over the exhaust up near where it should be, then welding it to the exhuast, the welds will make it look like it actually is being used, but it wont actually be doing anything, basically like gutting your cat, only doing it over the existing piping...

heres the issue the bpu guys are easy to take care of. when you start doing injectors and inj pumps or turbos it gets harder to conceal that your modded. also with the smoke test being subjective like it is one tech may pass you another may fail the same truck for the same smoke.

Im glad everyone is finally starting to take this stuff serious, I am going to form a petition, if you are interested please let me know!!! Send me a PM with your name and I will put it all together! I am going to post this other forums as well.

It may be a total waste of time but I sure would like to at least give it a chance!

And everyone again, please call and raise hell. The least we can do is make this guys life miserable, considering thats what hes gonna do to all of us!

ARB Aftermarket Executive Order - Search results.

here are some legal turbo upgrades, as you can see the only who has gone through ARB is Gale banks.
