Can 22.5's fit on a 2wd with a leveling kit?

If you are talking 22.5's with the semi tires, yes the leveling kit should give you enough clearance.

how are the ball joints/track bar bushings? Oh, and did you get the tires balanced? Lots of different things can contribute to "death wobble"

Haha... the truck makes my XR look tiny. ![]() ![]() ![]() These are Accuride wheels with 255/70/22.5s. No lift or leveling kit. The only clearance issue was up front, where the tires (when turned about half way to lock) would just barely graze the plastic wheelhouse liners in one spot (at the rear, near the running board.) They probably would've worn through eventually, as the wear marks were clearly visible after a couple thousand miles. I was borrowing these from a friend who was having his '04 straightened out and painted... body guy wanted steelies on it, so I rode around on his 22.5s for a few weeks. They're great on his truck because it's got the four door cab (not the Mega cab, but the shorter one,) but all that unsprung weight seems to make a short wheelbase truck like mine feel a little less surefooted. I loved the crazy gear reduction effect... I went from 2500 RPMs at 70 MPH to less than 2000 RPMs. 4.10s are a bummer. ![]() I'll probably get some 19.5s when the time comes.

If so I have found reconditioned Aluminum rims that are really, really cheap. Not to mention the weight savings over all steel. I only ask because I was looking at running all steel and after talking to a few folks on here and doing the math (Fuel mileage, extra mass to get moving and slow down) the 4 Alum 2 steel (stays under factory fenders in rear) or all Alum (sticks out 2" per side and requires longer studs on the adapters) is a better way to go Home These guys are in Illinois near the Quad Cities. Good luck!
