diesekguymatt

I recently bought a HX-35W turbo off of diesekguymatt. Turbo was described to have slight shaft play. To me that was not a big deal I'd rebuild it but what he FAILED to mention was that an exhaust flange bolt was sheered off in the exhaust housing and two other bolts had started to be stripped and the threaded holes were beginning to be stripped as well. To me that's a pretty important part of the item description. I tried PMing him but received no response of any kind in regards to his lack of information about the turbo I just spent my money on! I know I'm being ignored by him because he's responded to ALL of my previous PM's prior to my reception of the turbo and his latest activity was today (04/18/12). To anyone in the future thinking about dealing with this guy, reconsider!!

Just figured I'd give this an update. Never heard back from the seller but I would like to thank him, I ended up spending close to $60 for drill bits and taps to get the broken bolt out. Had to re-size all the holes and put new hardware in. Thanks again for being suuuuch a straight forward seller, all I can say is karma is a "beach" so I'm sure you'll be fortunate to have good dealings in the future.

So you admit that you knew about the broken bolt but never said anything about it in your description. I'm not removing my "Beware" post. I have been scammed on here before and will do whatever it takes to warn others. If you got a problem with that tell one of the mods. If they feel I was wrong for trying to warn others about you, then they can remove it. Have a nice day.

You're kidding me right? First off the thread holes were not fine, nor were 3 of the 5 bolts (counting one that was sheared off) and yes between extractor bits/drill bits and taps PLUS the new hardware needed AFTER I HAD TO RE-SIZE the holes in the turbo and adapter flange it came close to $60! If you have a problem with how I responded to the incident, how do you think I felt when I became aware of the issue and had to take hours of my time to fix a problem that was never stated. I work 12-15 hours just about everyday for 7 days a week YET I still find time to get work done on my truck and make my way to a computer. So you know what save your half arsed excuses for someone else. I come on this forum to deal with reputable people and when I buy parts from someone on here I expect to receive the part as described, no surprises and have not had a problem with the numerous members I've dealt with in the past until you. So thank you and have a lovely day.

Matt are you really a newbie telling a guy with like 1200 posts to go find somewhere else to do business? If you even are in the military you should know how that turns out. Also in every branch I have heard of Honor and Integrity are 2 of their many pillars of what makes a good person, wheres yours?

I'm not gonna get into a bickering match with you because, frankly,I've got better things to do. I think the proof is in the pudding,so to speak. If you are truly in the military, you obviously have not retained what should've been taught to you in your first couple of days of basic training. Integrity. Look it up. I didnt post on your ads to get under your skin, I posted to warn others of your misdealings. I am free to do so. Maybe instead of getting all defensive you should try to make it right. You should have already sent the man $60 for his trouble instead of how you are handling yourself right now. If you feel like venting some more or making an a$$ of yourself, feel free to PM me.

Don't go changing the subject to a pissing competition as to who works longer hours and what they do. You want to talk about professionalism? Then lets go back to what this whole thing is about; you failed to give a complete description for an item that I purchased from you. It's not like it had a few scratches in it, bolts/thread holes where mangled and a bolt was sheared off in the turbocharger. To me and most likely everyone else on this forum that's a key bit of information to be shared to a buyer. It cost me additional money out of my pocket to fix something that wasn't suppose to be damaged. The right thing to do was ask the buyer if the additional damage to the item was okay with them since you full well knew that the additional damage was there before you shipped it out. I'm not here to gang up on anyone just simply let other people beware of your kind of dealings and let them be the judge of doing business with you. I on the other hand would never do business with you again and your hostile attitude in your reply's isn't warranted, I cannot control what other people add to this thread so don't group it together as "pile on". As to your witty comment about leaving the forum; I've done nothing wrong here, simply told the facts and will continue doing business with the many other reputable members on here that I have never had a problem with nor have they with I.
