your in luck...paypal works great for the buyer not the seller....all you have to do is open a dispute and bam they put a hold on the money until it is resloved...heres the downside if you sell something and the buyer doesnt like it or needs him money for something else all they have to do is say "not as decribed" and bam your screwed dont ask me how i know..i hate paypal but still use it because most people pay that way

Your kinda right. I've been screwed by Paypal as a buyer and seller twice. I won't use them ever again(haven't in 2 years).I bought a new Eclipse in dash NAV unit. When it came in, it was obviously used. Wire ends frayed and a rubbed spot on the screen frame. Not a big deal but not as described. I bought it thru Ebay. That Paypal buyer protection is BS. READ THE FINE PRINT. It only protcts you up to $2000(I think) if the Ebay seller has a feedback rating of 99.5% with a certain amount of transactions. Other than that, it is $100 of protection. I wanted a $125 refund from the buyer but they wouldn't agree. Said to return the NAV for a refund. No problem but what happens when I return the NAV and they do not send the refund? Now I'd really be screwed. The seller was already dishonest.

Paypal agreed that they could do no more than freeze their account from being used again or them opening another account under the same SS# or credit card. Now if the seller hasn't removed the money from the account then Paypal can freeze it for you but they made it clear that they do not have the power of CC companies to get money back.

I had no choice but accept the $100 being offered. Paypal said it would be in my account in 10 days. Checked back, no money I called them on day 15 to hear that" we are sorry but I never responded to the email to accept the credit. I never got one.

The time I got screwed as a seller is long too but basically the buyer said "not as described" to get a refund on gear rental after he was done with it. I was smart enough to not leave money in my Paypal account ever or I'd been out of $500.00 also.
Anyways Paypal can suck it.

sold a banks intercooler to a guy used paypal he replaced his intercooler sent me the old used stock one and said mine was damaged and sent it back to me and paypal gave his money back to him, so i have a used intercooler and no money paypal sucks
