Geno's Garage

I called technical support at Geno's last week and asked a specific question about a product they sell and was given the answer I wanted, so I ordered the item online.
It arrived today, and to my dismay it was NOT made of the material I had specifically questioned about.
I called Geno's and got Scott. He appologized for the misimformation and fixed the situation. I called a little PO'd and hung up a happy customer that will buy from Geno's in the future. Thanks Scott!!

Oh, and the Dayco replacement tensioner wheel is NOT metal. In fact neither is the gates. You have to buy the whole new tensioner from Gates to get a metal wheel.

Belt was tracking off and went to replace the pulley on the tensioner and also found that the Dayco replacement was plastic so decided to replaced with a Dayco 89016 metal idler/tension pulley. Slightly larger in diameter, worked well.

Definitely good guys there. Stopped by Geno's to look at a replacement fuel pump for my '01. We weren't sure if my gauge was hooked up right, so Scott (I think it was him) pulled a fuel pressure tester out and sure enough, 2psi at idle. We also found that my braided line was leaking too, so he hooked me up with one and the fass pump. We swapped the line out in the parking lot, letting me borrow his tools and everything. Definitely helped me out before my 2000+ mile trip!
