Hey guys, Just bought a used 2004 5.9 4x4 dually with sixgun w/speedloader installed. Truck has 56k on it. I called Banks because no power was being added. The tech guys were VERY helpful, told me how to reset and relearn module and I was impressed on how much torgue was added to a otherwise stock H.O. engine!

Everyone to there own .02...but on a $30K truck, I wouldn't settle for anything inferior (: After having a Powerpack on an '02 Ford, and now two six-guns w/speedloaders on my own plus a friend's '05 cummins, I've had nothing but success with Banks.

I'm curious to hear how it works for you.

I am try to decide between a couple of CTDs. One is newer, fewer miles and has a banks sixgun (switch not PDA) and the other truck is a year older, more miles with no power adder. btw the 2nd truck is about $4K less expensive. For $4K or less, I could level it, put larger wheels and/or tires on it and add a Smarty. Just can't remove miles (ethically, ha!).

Any updates yet. Curious to find out how yours is working for you.

I ran down from Flagstaff, AZ to Rocky Point Mexico and back on the stock setting. Pulling a tent trailer with my dirtbike in the back (couldn't tell either was there unless I looked in the mirror ) and got a little over 15mpg indicated. Correcting for the tire size difference that should equal close to 16.5 or so. I haven't run enough of a tank on the #3 setting to see what that would average.
