Talking Friday nights in Langley

To any of the motorheads in this group

I know this has been going on for a couple of years now in langley but last night was the first time I stopped in to take a look!

Anyways there seems to be a custom car show/meet every fri. nite at the timmys on logan ave next to the driver services branch building (actualy most of the cars are parked in the lot of the DSB). Well I gotta tell ya there are some really nice looking cars there! Nicely done 50's and 60's style hot rods as well as some newer stuff from corvettes to dodge vipers and a yellow SRT-10 all done to the nines. Someone even showed up in a blue Lamborghini convertable. I have no idea what model of Lambo but it was blue

I saw a immaculate DeLorean and even a Ford Pantera!

Anyways looks like I will be off on Fri. nites for the next little while and was just wondering if anyone else in the Langley or surrounding areas has ever stopped in to take a peek! If not, you should! there is some very nice looking cars on display. I'm thinking this may become a fri. thing to do! Beats hangin out at the bar!!

From what I have been told the cars start meeting at around 5-6pm and goes to near dark. I think it is well worth checking out!

Maybe see some of you there

The blue Lambo I saw was a Gallardo Spyder, that V-10 sounded sweet when he left the lot

It's been happening for years. I believe it started because of the Langley Cruisin' car show on Labour day weekend. People would cruise the strip there the Friday night before the show and shine on Saturday.

Did anyone from the forum make it down tonight? The Tim Hortons and the DSC parking lots where packed! I cruised down on my Motorcycle and took a look around but I didn't see any dodge trucks! Lots of nice cars and eye candy but I didn't see anyone I recognized.

There was another show at the KMS tools parking lot. KMS had a tent set up and were giving away prizes!

Oh well, I have changed employers again and back to working 4 nights a week so Friday's are mine again!! whoo hoo!

I was in Aldergrove yesterday night. And it seems as though on the corner of Route 1A (Fraser hwy) and 264st, the Timmy's/A+W there has a show and shine every tuesday night. Some real nice cars.
