BD Steering Stabilizer

After fighting the normal front end problems with my 01, I tried the BD steering stabilizer and all I can say is WOW. I also have the Lukes joint that worked for maybe 2 months and is still worn out { needs to be rebuilt }. Dont waste your time on the Lukes joint. I talked to Dave at BD and got the steering stabilizer, it took about 25 minutes to install and made all the difference in the world. Almost as good as new!! This is one of the best bang for the buck products on the market and also one of the best product's I have ever put on my truck.

Thanks Dave

The steering stabilizer ties both front fram rail and the steering box together. This eliminates movement of the frame rails and also the steering box. The result is much tighter steering.

The added stability to the steering box can really extend the life of it as well. I have heard comments like "it is like driving a brand new truck again"

I have one as well the best upgrade you can do for these trucks. My only problem with it is that Im always having to tighten to big nut that goes on the steering. I think i might weld it in place. The lock tight is not working.

Do you have any driveline vibrations that might be causing it to loosen off? If you had a noticable drive shaft vibration that might cause a problem with it loosening off.

This most likely would be the fix. We have put them on trucks with extremely loose steering boxes and have had them "tighten" right back up again.
